Hiawatha Light Rail, Hiawatha, MN
Client Needs
The first of its kind: a design-build Light Rail Transit (LRT) project for Minnesota that connects downtown Minneapolis to the Mall of America along a corridor that parallels Highway 55 and provides service to both the Lindbergh and Hubert H. Humphrey airport terminals.

This unique design-build project incorporated urban and rural highway design in the Twin Cities metro area along a previously undeveloped highway corridor. The project included seven interchanges, 29 bridges and multiple waterway crossings.
